Short Detail: Eglinton West is host to many street festivities throughout the summer. On Saturday July 30, 2005, the area will be hosting the 1st Annual Antique Car Show as well as a Caribana Xpress Bus from 10 am-9 pm that will be continuously bringing people back and forth from the Caribana Parade to the Eglinton West area.
This event should be a great day for all to join in as they enjoy the music, entertainment, shopping and great food from different cultures!

EVENT PLAN
  • Date: July 16th
  • Time: 11:30am-2pm
  • Location: Green P. Parking Lot (1775 Eglinton Avenue West).

  • 11:30am Join us for Lunch sponsored by the Yorktown Butcher Shop's Grill Team.

  • 12pm Press Conference will begin; all volunteers and Guests will be welcomed and informed of the day's events. All Honoured guests will be presented with an award thanking them for their involvement and endorsement of our event.
  • 12:00pm-Welcome from Geoff Shore (Tim Hortons) & Nick Alampi (York-Eglin. BIA)
  • 12:10pm-Nick Javor TDL Corporate Communications.
  • 12:15pm-MP. Mario Silva
  • 12:20pm-MPP Mike Cole

  • 12:45-1:00pm Volunteers will begin parading down Eglinton Ave. W. picking up litter and distributing information packages to Businesses and people on the street.
  • 2:00pm all volunteers will meet back at Green P. Lot where they will dispose of collected litter and enjoy refreshments. They will also receive certificates thanking them for their support and involvement in the day's activities.
